The colors were picked because of the weight on my heart about the Ukrainian people and the place they call home. A portion of every dress we sell will go to relief efforts and mission workers that are over there helping in their time of need.
 
I fell in love at first sight with this paisley eyelet chiffon and from there everything else was just focused around that fabric. I took the blue and yellow from the watercolor print that was custom printed onto the chiffon eyelet and matched them with beautiful Swiss dot chiffons. I didn’t want to lose the effect of the watercolor print so we started the layers under it with white Swiss dot chiffon, yellow and finished off with the blue.
 
Next, I knew that I wanted lace details but was determined to find one that had a paisley feel to me rather than floral. Then I found it and fell deeper in love. With that lace we added details to the bodice and hem on the first layer.
 
As always, we still have the adjustable tie straps that get fuller at the bottom. On this one I am doing a completely smocked back for even more flexibility in fit. Plus…the fabric gathered like that is another detail in itself I feel. It’s just love for me and I hope you all love it too.
 
These run the same way all my latest Emerys run. They are extremely flexible with sizing because of the tie straps and full elastic back. Take normal size or if want to size up for longer use because these definitely have all the right details to use more than one year.
